~ GOD Answers Prayer ~
Prayer: A woman had begun struggling with prayerlessness after a series of events that threw her into activity, confusion and grief. She began asking GOD to bring her back into intimacy with Him and daily prayer. Answer: She is now in the midst of personal revival and GOD is beginning to reorder her daily schedule.
Prayer: My friend's husband has been laid off for 6 weeks. She called and we prayed on the phone while her husband was at a job interview. Answer: She called 45 minutes later to say, "He got the job! Thanks be to GOD!" We later found out that some of the youth had been praying as well!
Prayer: For God to speak humility and conviction to my son. Answer: God sent a powerful, but loving woman of faith to visit at midnight. I can see the beginnings of the healing of a prideful spirit.
Prayer: We prayed for the youth mission trip to San Carlos. Answer: The faith of many workers and participants was strengthened through the sharing between ourchurches and the vacation bible school experience.
Prayer: Our sister in Christ had shoulder surgery. Answer: She is healing so quickly and has had much less pain that was predicted.
Prayer:We prayed so hard that this person would have the nursing care they needed; that God would make a place available to them. Answer: God answered our prayer and our loved one was well and lovingly cared for, giving us peace as she prepared to move on into eternal life.
Prayer: We prayed for our church to have the pastors that God had in mind for us, and for our outreach ministries. Answer: Pastor Carol Pifer will join with Pastor Mel Hazelwood to lead our church forward for God's kingdom.
Prayer: "I began to pray constantly for this person, who never really had any faith, to find some hope and salvation in God."
Answer: "The first week, without any prompting, this person called me mentioning God in their conversation. The Second week they mentioned that the "Lord helped them." The third week this person attended St. John's and seemed pleased, even mentioning that they would return next week. Because of God, all things are possible."
Prayer:for BMX of Corpus Christi to be recognized and accepted and have a place to ride... Answer:they rode and did tricks in the parade, were respectful and well received by the community!
